"He never let a child fade into the background." A coaches endorsement of Bill Muto
Dear Neighbor,
I have known Bill Muto for more than twenty years. We met the way most people around here meet, on a playing field, with a bag of equipment and a roster full of kids who needed somewhere to be.
We coached together, and I watched how he handled every child on that team. Any coach can work with the kids who already know how to play. What I noticed about Bill was how he worked with the ones who did not. He never let a child fade into the background. He took the time to figure out what each kid needed, because what worked for one did not always work for another. Some needed extra reps. Some needed space. Some just needed an adult who remembered their name and asked about their week. Bill paid attention to all of it, and he never lost sight of the reason they were out there in the first place. He also kept it fun.
Those same qualities are exactly what this district needs at the State House. Bill listens before he speaks. He looks at the full picture rather than reacting to the loudest voice in the room. He does the homework. And he treats people with the same respect whether or not they can do a single thing for him.
I am proud to endorse Bill Muto for State Representative in District 23. I hope you will join me on September 9.
