Voter FAQ

Q: Can I vote if I recently moved to Warwick?

Yes! Update your voter registration address online at vote.sos.ri.gov. In Rhode Island, you may also update your address at your polling place on Election Day. 

Q: What ID do I need at the polls?

Rhode Island requires a photo ID such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, or student ID. If you don't have a photo ID, you may cast a provisional ballot.

Q: Can I vote if I have a felony record?

In Rhode Island, you may vote if you are not currently incarcerated for a felony conviction. Your voting rights are restored upon release from prison. 

Q: Can I vote early in Rhode Island?

Yes, Rhode Island offers early voting and mail ballot options. Check the RI Secretary of State website for the exact schedule and locations.
