Meet Bill Muto
Your Neighbor.
Your Voice.
A Lifelong Warwick Resident Fighting for You
Warwick Roots
Bill Muto was born and raised in the Buttonwoods neighborhood of Warwick, Rhode Island. He attended Park Elementary School, Gorton Junior High School, and Warwick Veterans Memorial High School. This city shaped him, and it’s a place he’s been proud to call home his entire life.

He grew up in a family of eight. His parents worked hard to provide their children with a better life — and to instill the values of family, hard work, public service, integrity, and common courtesy. They demonstrated the importance of giving back through involvement in the St. Clement community and his father’s dedication to coaching youth sports. To this day, Bill remains part of the Sts. Rose and Clement parish.

Family and Community First
His wife Joanne is also a lifelong Warwick resident and an English teacher at Pilgrim High School. They have two children: Michaela, who works in market research, and Alexander, a student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Bill coached Warwick youth sports leagues — soccer, baseball, basketball, and volleyball — giving back the way his father gave to him. He is running because District 32 deserves a representative who will show up, listen hard, and deliver real results.

“When my wife Joanne and I were deciding where to raise our family, we knew Warwick was exactly where we wanted to be. This community isn’t just where I live — it’s who I am.”

On leadership, Bill believes that "Rhode Island succeeds when its leaders work together. Times are tough for a lot of families, and there are no easy answers. Warwick has always met its challenges by working hard and being straight with one another."
