Councilman Bill Muto Declares Candidacy for State Rep. District 23

Warwick City Councilman William Muto officially declared his candidacy for State Representative representing District 23 in Warwick, on Tuesday May 26th. Councilman Muto enters the race seeking to replace outgoing Representative and Speaker of the House Joseph Shekarchi who announced his retirement recently. Citing strong support from constituents, peers and community organizations, Councilman Muto stated it has been a privilege to work alongside Rep. Shekarchi and Senator Mark McKenney to represent local neighborhoods in Warwick, and that he looks forward to continuing this work at the state level.
